Ohr Habayit
Light of the Home
Caring for Jewish homes through life’s hard seasons.
Care. Hope. Refresh. Fix.
What We Help With
The everyday repairs and maintenance that keep a home comfortable, taken care of with a warm touch.
-
Lights and Outlets
Replacing fixtures, bulbs, switches, and outlets so every room is bright and safe.
-
Faucets and Plumbing Fixes
Drips, leaks, and small plumbing problems handled before they become big ones.
-
Small Home Repairs
The little fixes that pile up around a busy home: hardware, caulk, touch-ups, and more.
And growing: appliance replacement, tech setup, heating and air conditioning, and discounted work through partner contractors.
How It Works
-
Reach Out Privately
Tell us what your home needs through a simple form. No long process, no explanations required.
-
We Review and Schedule
We look at your request and find a time that works for you.
-
We Take Care of It
A trusted volunteer or partner comes by and takes care of the work.
Our Promise
Your privacy and your dignity come first. Every request is confidential, and your information stays private.
We believe a well cared for home brings comfort and peace of mind, especially in a hard season. That is why our work is quiet, respectful, and focused on the home itself. What happens at your home stays between you and us.
Partner With Us
We are building a circle of contractors, handymen, volunteers, and suppliers who want to put their skills to good use.
- Contractors and handymen: take on repairs at a comfortable pace that fits your schedule.
- Volunteers: help with visits, coordination, and simple hands-on work.
- Suppliers: provide materials so more homes can be refreshed for less.
Our partners are recognized publicly and referred warmly throughout our community.
